Did You Know Demons Strategically Monitor You?

You know the Christmas song that goes, "He sees you when you're sleeping; he knows when you're awake"? Well, prophetic minister Kathy DeGraw says you need to be aware that demons are strategically watching you so they can tempt you.

"When we look at monitoring spirits, they are gathering what we say, what we do, how we act, how we behave, and they're reporting back to the demonic commanders," DeGraw says. "Demons are organized, disciplined and committed. I want you to think about them kind of as a military force."

One way to identify a "familiar spirit" is if you notice that the same way or time every year, something bad happens, DeGraw says on the Prophetic Spiritual Warfare podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. If you notice a pattern, you need to take action, she says.

"What we need to do is we need to be praying offensively," DeGraw says. "... Familiar spirits are being released to create the same negative cycles, seasons and patterns in your life. ... We struggle with that same poverty mentality or unworthiness or that defeat because we haven't recognized that a familiar spirit is at work. As your friend, I want you to spend some time in prayer asking the Holy Spirit, 'What familiar spirits at work? How do you bind it and restrict it for your life? How do you remove it and annihilate it?'"
