India: A Christian Man was Punished for the Proselytisation of Three Hindus to Christianity

A Christian man named Avadesh Savitha of 26 years old falsely charged the proselytisation of three Hindus to Christianity was dragged from his house at Ramdar and his head ceremoniously shaved in Orai town of Jalaun District of Uttar Pradesh in India on Friday afternoon, the 29th January by a mob of Hindu activists called Bajrang Dal, a strong anti christian movement, Christian Telegraph reports according to Ciniraj Ministries press centre.
The man, Avadesh Savita, was falsely charged not only for the conversion of three Hindus to Christianity; but at their Baptism, he forced them to eat beef of a cow.
The Bajrang Dal acted in the matter.
A ban on cow slaughter is enshrined in the Constitution and is a Directive Principle of State Policy.
Some 200 Bajrang Dal activists raided the house of Avadesh at Ramdar, dragged him out and took him to the nearby Orai town.
There Avadesh head was ceremoniously shaven and also his face was given a clean shave. Then he was made to wear a garland of slippers. He was taken round the town in procession.
Avadesh Savitha is innocent. Conversion story and forcing anybody to eat beef of a cow is a false accuse against him. Paul Ciniraj, President of the Christian Ministers of the Churches in India said. It is a political game of Bajrang Dal and RSS against Mulayam Yadav’s son, Akhilesh Government of Uttar Pradesh, Paul Ciniraj added.
After the public humiliation, Avadesh lodged a copmplaint with the police. The police registered a case, but did not act in the matter or effect an arrest.
